Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.
Currently reading: I was able to start running again which means The King of Crows (Diviners #4) by Libba Bray is getting some play time! It feels great to get out, even if it’s just a mile for now. I decided I want to do a 5K on Thanksgiving so I’ll be keeping it up!
I found a chunk of time to read The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson when the Baby was sleeping so I’m moving forward with this still. Slow going, but it’s taken a turn that I’m excited to explore.
I started making some good progress on True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey again. I’m focusing on it now so I’m hoping this will continue to move forward. I’ve liked what I ready so far.
Recently finished: No surprise, nothing here.
Reading next: I’ll get to The Chocolate War by Robert Cormeir someday…
Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.
Have any opinions on these choices?
Until next time, write on.
You can follow me on Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. I’m available via email at SamAStevensWriter@gmail.com. And as always, feel free to leave a comment!
Good luck with the 5k target and with your reading choices.

How cool that you started running again, giving yourself two months to work up to 5K sounds like a good idea.

I also wish you luck with the 5K! You’re always so great with attacking things in manageable chunks. I admire that! I think I read the first of the Diviners book but never thought about the rest of the series. Typical of me I’m afraid!

I like to have goals and this 5Knseems like a good stepping stone to my other goals. The series has been really satisfying so far if you get a chance to pick it up again. Happy reading!

Great job on getting back to running! It’s important to keep up with the things that make us feel like us as new moms, which can be really difficult. Here’s my WWW post

I told my husband that my fitness was not something I was willing to sacrifice so he’s helping me make it happen. We each picked two things. My other was reading. Happy Wednesday!

I don’t know if this is something you would be interested in doing, but when my daughter was an infant I read what I was reading out loud to her while we cuddled. It gave me extra time to read and I feel like it helped with her development. I can’t say 100% that it had any difference, but she did speak early.

That’s really cool! I’ll have to give it a try. We don’t have a lot of time yet when she’s not sleeping, crying, or eating so I’ll look forward to it. My husband has been reading her Poe at night. 🥺 Happy reading!

If it makes you feel any better about Poe, I read the Harry Potter series to mine.
