The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently reading: Again, nothing with The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson. Ebooks have never been my favorite so it’s no surprise that this format is slow going for me. I’m not too upset about it, really. I’m fine with it lingering.
I knocked out another few pages of True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey. My partner has to walk with the Baby before they go to sleep and I use those few minutes to crack open this book. Hopefully they’ll go down more easily soon, but I’m fine with little bits for now.
I’m excited to say I started The Ghosts of Eden Park by Karen Abbott late last week and I’m enjoying it already. I love well-written nonfiction and this fits squarely into that bucket. Maybe some longer runs can help me make good progress with this one, but I’ll probably slow down running a bit after my Turkey Trot tomorrow.

StrangerRecently finished: I wrapped up The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda while driving home from the nanny’s on Thursday and it felt so good to finish a book! The ending of this was satisfying because I wouldn’t have guessed it and it was well woven into the story. I’ll try to get a review written soon if Baby will let me.

Reading next: It’s way too early for me to be thinking of this! Maybe I’ll look into it next week.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Congratulations on finishing A Perfect Stranger. I’m glad that you enjoyed the ending. There’s nothing worse than a mystery when you don’t feel convinced by the ending. Here’s my WWW post https://devoil.wordpress.com/2021/11/24/www-wednesday-24th-november/ Happy Thanksgiving!

Congrats on finishing Perfect Stranger. Ebooks aren’t my favorite, either. I don’t know why, but I’m happy to see I’m not alone.

This week I’ve got a cozy mystery and a true crime classic.

I still like the physical book. Maybe if I had an ereader it would be different, but reading on my phone is no fun. Happy reading!

I remember when my girl was little she preferred to sleep on me. I ended up carrying her in a sling a lot of the time. That way I had my hands free whilst she was happily snuggled up asleep against me. She only started napping/sleeping in her own cot when she was about six months old. It worked for us and her, but every baby is different!

Reading feels good just at the moment! https://lolaetlavie.wordpress.com/2021/11/24/www-wednesdays-24-november-2021/

We have an Ergo carrier that the baby sleeps well in. It’s a last ditch effort when she won’t sleep anywhere else. Happy reading!

I love it when a thriller has a satisfying end because that doesn’t always happen in my opinion.

I struggle with ebooks as a format too, even though by all accounts I should find it convenient. I just like the tactile feeling of physical books too much, and Kindle has had annoying bugs for me on occasion. I do get them sometimes anyway, though, as it’s hard to resist seeing a novel you want to read going for $1.99.

    Have a great week!
