4 May

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Kelly

Currently reading: I’ll get to The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson. I’m not in a rush and it’s just hanging out, so I’m not too worried about this one.
I’ve made some good steps forward with True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey. Baby has been going down earlier and sleeping well so I’ve gotten some good reading time in!
Still moving steadily through Where the Light Enters by Sara Donati. This one feels like it’s dragging quite a bit so I’m getting a bit frustrated with it at this point, but I’ll carry on.

Recently finished: It sounds crazy, but I think Kelly Gang will be the next one here and I don’t think I’m too far away from that!

51I9OngSemL._SX328_BO1,204,203,200_Reading next: The plan is still for A House at the Bottom of a Lake by Josh Malerman to be my next ebook.
If I’m right and need a new physical book next, it’s past time for me to do my Spanish book of the year! My amazing husband got me Rebeldes (The Outsiders) by S.E. Hinton. This is one of my all time favorite books so I’m excited to explore it in Spanish.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Have any opinions on these choices?

Until next time, write on.

Sorry to hear that Where the Light Enters is dragging a bit. It’s always a shame when a book that you’ve looked forward to reading isn’t as good as you anticipated. Hopefully it will improve. My WWW post is here https://witchyreading.wordpress.com/2022/05/04/www-wedsnesday-may-4/

I feel like the author was too ambitious with the story. We’ll see if it finds its footing. Happy reading!

So impressed that you can read in Spanish! I can speak a little school French, but I know I’d need a dictionary or Google translate by my side the whole time if I attempted to read anything.😂 Here’s my link for this week: https://thesecretlibrarysite.wordpress.com/2022/05/04/www-wednesdays-04-05-22-happyshrugday%f0%9f%98%89-wwwwednesdays-secretlibrarybookblog-maythe4thbewithyou/
