Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.
Currently reading: I keep pecking away at Soldiers’ Pay by William Faulkner. I know I need to buckle down and finish this one so I’m trying to do it more and more! I’m about 3/5 of the way through the book. I think I can push through and make it!
I’ve still not found my stride with Sophie’s Choice by William Styron. I don’t feel a huge rush to finish this one so I’m going to let it stew for a while. I’m hoping that I find something to enjoy in it soon so I pick it up more.
I’m so close to finishing The Birth of Venus by Sarah Durant! I have a few days off before Christmas so I’ll try to do some baking and finish this up! I’m really determined to finish my reading challenges.
Recently finished: Nothing again. But next week! Next week will be it! I’m pushing.
Reading next: I’ll remain optimistic about fitting in The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho before the end of the year. It will be tight but I think I can do it!
Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.
Have any opinions on these choices?
Until next time, write on.

🙂 You and I are in the same boat. Pushing through is the name of the game with these last few reads before closing out the year.
I really should have read The Alchemist by now. I’ve been suggested to read it by so many people. It’s now become an intimidating read for me (eek). I’m afraid the hype will set me up for disappointment. Fingers crossed that once I get around to it, I’ll enjoy it as much as everyone else has. Take it easy and Happy Reading!

What sold me on The Alchemist is that it’s do short lol. I think I can manage to finish even if I don’t love it. Happy reading!

I find the period between Christmas and New Year is a little quieter and hopefully good for catching up with some reading. Good luck with completing your challenge.

I went through a Faulkner phase a while back, but didn’t read Soldiers’ Pay. Hope you find it worthwhile to push through!
