19 Jul

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Currently reading: I hope to finish this section of Seeing Sideways by Kristin Hersh this week. I’ve been trying to prioritize it but I’m just reading slowly.
I keep thinking I’m near the end of How to Find Your Way in the Dark by Derek B. Miller but find I still have a way to go. I’ll say again that I think I’m almost done!
I haven’t had a chance to touch Splash! by Howard Means but I know I’ll be back to it as soon as I can get through this section of Hersh!

Recently finished: I wrote a review! Finally! I wrapped up my review of The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss over the weekend and posted it Monday. No longer behind!

Reading next: Maybe I’ll start What Makes Us by Rafi Mittlefehldt this week? Finally? Who knows right now.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Have any opinions on these choices?

Until next time, write on.

You can follow me on Goodreads, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. I’m available via email at SamAStevensWriter@gmail.com. And as always, feel free to leave a comment!

I haven’t read any of these, I’ve just started James Baldwin’s GoTell it On The Mountain that I’m doing a mini readalong with another blogger, just finished books #1 and #2 in a Catalan tryptic Permafrost and Boulder, and next I might read A Little Luck by Argentinian author Claudia Piñeiro as I recently enjoyed her novel Elena Knows.

I agree – being caught up is such a good feeling! I used my WWW to review two of my 20 Books of Summer so I am almost caught up as well. Plus, I finished Middlemarch, which took nearly two months.

Ahhh, yes! What a lovely feeling to be up-to-date with reviews. I just got caught up myself yesterday. I’m sorry you were so disappointed with the ending of The Name of the Wind. I also felt that a bit with my last read, Legends & Lattes.
