Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.
Currently reading: I’ve been challenging myself to read Servant of the Underworld by Aliette de Bodard while nursing at least once per day. So far, it’s going well! I’m about 70% done with the book. Reading it more often is also helping me remember what’s happening and stay more invested in the story.
It’s been a challenge to read Más allá de la magia (Beyond the Wand) by Tom Felton when the other option is sleeping. I pick sleeping every time. I’m sure I’ll get back to it, but not super soon.
I started taking walks this week which has given me time for Saints and Misfits by S.K. Ali. They’re still short for now, but with my first I got up to about two miles so I’m optimistic I’ll get more time soon and get through this in good time.
Recently finished: Nothing finished and I expect it to stay that way for a while. I’ll get there eventually.
Reading next: Assuming I get more walks in, I’ll grab Vita Brevis by Ruth Downie on audio as soon as I can!
If my ebook reading continues going well, I’m thinking of getting Can I Say by Travis Barker. I grea up listening to Blink 182 and I’ve been on a roll with music-focused books so I’m excited to dive into this one.
Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.
Have any opinions on these choices?
Until next time, write on.

Well done on making such good progress with Servant of the Underworld. It certainly sounds very different to the recent books that I have read by her. Here’s my WWW post for this week https://witchyreading.wordpress.com/2024/02/28/www-wednesday-february-28/

I’m a bit slow on finishing books recently but I am getting there. I have to make sure that I read the same book regularly as baby brain is hitting me even harder this time round!
My oldest son is at school so I’m having to walk to and from there – which is good for me, but it does interrupt nap time for my 7 month old! I hope you manage to get up to your 2 miles soon!
Have a great week!

I can understand you would pick sleeping, in the circumstances. I hope you will be able to feel more energetic soon.
