21 Jun

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Currently reading: I’ve made a lot of good progress on The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Switching to a paper copy was the right call for sure. I’m honestly hopeful I can finish it in the next week or two now!
I got through the second section of Seeing Sideways by Kristin Hersh and I’m waiting for my Reading Buddy to finish. This part was a lot more linear than the first and I was able to enjoy it much more.
I’m moving slowly through How to Find Your Way in the Dark by Derek B. Miller but I’m still enjoying it. This has a few more weeks in it still unless I have a long drive come up that I’m not expecting.

Recently finished: Reading Buddy and I got started on finishing The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and I raced to the finish! She’s got a lot going on right now so we might not discuss for a bit still. I’m going to try and get my review written before we meet so my rating isn’t influenced by that chat. I also like reading other reviews before she and I talk. We talk about the other perspectives I find when discussing how we felt about it.

Reading next: I finally feel like I’m close to picking up Splash! by Howard Means. It’s about time for some non-fiction.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Have any opinions on these choices?

Until next time, write on.

Addie LaRue is still on my TBR… I hope you and your buddy have a fruitful discussion about it. I just discovered NetGalley recently and got approved for 2 out of the 5 ARCs I requested this morning, surprisingly! So those are my current reads.
