Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Currently reading: Not a lot of changes this week with a very busy weekend! I switched The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss back to my phone for a chapter or so but I’m hoping to give it more time soon!
Reading Buddy and I met last night and we’re diving forward to the end of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab. I honestly think this book is a bit too long. I’m looking forward to seeing how she wraps it up.
Despite my concerns, I’m liking this second section of Seeing Sideways by Kristin Hersh a lot more. It’s much more linear and without jumping around, I can appreciate her style much more. I may end up liking this after all!
I got one long run in on Saturday and made it through a chunk of How to Find Your Way in the Dark by Derek B. Miller. I feel like there’s something big that will happen but I’m not quite there yet.

Recently finished: Toddler has been exhausting lately so I’m not surprised I didn’t finish anything. Maybe they’ll give me a break before they finish high school?

Reading next: I’m still planning on Splash! by Howard Means for my next physical book but I wonder if I’ll need an audiobook sooner. Maybe I’ll have to add one next week.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Fingers crossed that your toddler becomes less exhausting as they get older. I think that the toddler stage is the most tiring. It certainly was with my daughter. I hope that you manage to get some reading time this week. Here’s my WWW post for this week https://witchyreading.wordpress.com/2023/06/14/www-wednesday-14-june/

Haha, I often think books are a bit too long! I think brevity is a skill more authors could cultivate – or their editors need to be more robust. I’ve just finished a 480 page book on my Kindle and although I enjoyed it I will admit to checking how many hours reading time was left every now and again!

Toddlers are definitely a lot of work. It does get easier though! And harder, sometimes (speaking as someone with a kiddo who just graduated high school).

I think you have recommended Schwab in the past – I need to check her out at the library. Here is my WWW Wedneday. I am excited that my thesis just got published! https://perfectretort.blogspot.com/2023/06/www-wednesday-flag-day.html

Everyone says that the baby stage is hard, but OMG the toddler stage makes the baby stage seem like a walk in the park! Hope things calm down for you soon!

Oh man! I haven’t participated in this for a long time! Anyway, I really want to read that Victoria Schwab book soon since I own the book, but I never had the time to read it.
