Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Currently reading: I got through another chapter of The Perfect Mother by Aimee Malloy and, man, is this getting dark! I’m not really liking where it’s going, but it’s gripping for sure.
I’m trying to power through Queen of Thieves by Beezy Marsh so I can start on my Buddy Read. I’m moving at a good pace, so no complaints, but I wish I could power through a little faster!
I’ve done well with Stay Gold by Tobly McSmith. My new gym is a bit further away so I can get some time in during that drive and then it motivates me to keep listening during the day. I’m at a really uncomfortable part where you really start to question how you’d react in the same situation. I like that this is making me think.

Recently finished: I think I’ll have some books here next week, but nothing now!

Reading next: I saw my Reading Buddy on Saturday and she gave me my copy of The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It’s on standby waiting to go as soon as I can get started!

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Have any opinions on these choices?

Until next time, write on.

I enjoyed The Midnight Library. It can be slightly mind-boggling but in a good way. Here’s my post. Not much happening on the reading front. https://janni10.wordpress.com/2023/09/20/www-wednesday-20-09-2023/

It sounds as if all three of the books you’re reading at the moment are really engrossing. I hope that continues!

My book group enjoyed The Midnight Library but it was so popular my copy arrived from the lib too late to read. It sounds like a good one to discuss. Here is my WWW:

I read at the gym but dislike headphones so carry my book around with me. I sometimes get odd looks but who cares?
