Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.
Currently reading: I got through very few pages of In the Garden of Beasts by Erik Larson. I put my ereader on the kitchen table to encourage me to read if I’m eating alone but until school starts back up again, it seems doubtful that will be happening.
I’m trying to get through In One Person by John Irving this week. My book club meets to discuss it on Monday and I’m leading the discussion. I’m planning to leave a lot of time for reading before then and I should be able to power through.
I’m absolutely in love with World Without End by Ken Follett. I was afraid this book would be less enjoyable than the first in the series, but I think it’s even better. I love the characters and the way Follett builds the plot. I can’t wait to listen to more and more of this one.
Recently finished: Sad news! No books finished this week. I knew this would start to happen with a long audiobook so I’m not surprised. I hope to have one for your next week, though!
Just one book reviewed, The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. I thought the advice in this book was amazing and a lot of it made sense to me. Great reading and I gave it Four out of Five Stars.
Reading Next: Boy, Snow, Bird by Helen Oyeyemi is still sitting on my bedside table. I’m really excited to start it and I hope I can dive in soon. I just have to finish Irving first. The plan is to finish it before Monday so I hope to say I’m reading this one next week.
Leave a comment with your link and a comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.
Have any opinions on these choices?
Until next time, write on.

Now i’m reading Valley of the moon. So good! I want to read something by Irving!

Good luck with making a little progress with In the Garden of Beasts… although it does sound like you’re getting there and I don’t think it’s in danger of becoming the next Cloud Atlas 😉

I’ll have to ask my mum if she’s read World Without End. I know she loved Pillars of the Earth. Good luck getting through In One Person in time for book club!

I’ve been lending out my copy of In the Garden of Beasts to friends to rave reviews. I haven’t read it yet, but I did get it back this week, so now may be the time to read it.

The only downside I’ve found to reading multiple books at once is making time for all of them. Since I’ve been putting off one of my own in-progress books until this week (for a worse reason than you), I can totally sympathize with trying to make sure you spend a little time on everything each week, if possible.

I haven’t taken part in WWW for a few weeks and can totally understand how you still have In The Garden of Beasts on your reading pile having read the Lusitania book. I just finished a non-fiction called The Wicked Boy which although I enjoyed, seemed to take me so much longer to finish than a fiction novel.
