Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.
Currently reading: I think I read about a chapter of The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson during the flight. My arms got tired of holding the phone high enough that I could read over Baby’s head. I know that’s a lame excuse. It was easier to play the in-flight chess game.
Nothing new with True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey this week. I don’t know why I’ve slowed down so much with this one and I really wish I could get back to it!
I have moved forward in The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda. I’m about half way done and enjoying this one because it’s keeping me guessing. I’ve been running during my lunch breaks so I haven’t been as skittish with the spooky feels this one gives me.
Recently finished: Same as last week. Probably nothing new here again for at least a week.
Reading next: My next audiobook is going to be The Ghosts of Eden Park by Karen Abbott. It’s been a bit since some good non-fiction so I’m looking forward to digging into this one!
Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.
Have any opinions on these choices?
Until next time, write on.

The Ghosts of Eden Park looks sooo good! Thanks for turning me on to it. I’ve been reading a lot non-fiction/true crime lately, and this might be the next one for me.
This week I have a novel of family dysfunction and a biography.

I know the struggle of reading over a baby! I still have it with my toddler! Then he gets up and shoves one of his books in my face and gets me to read to him (which is lovely really!).
I am trying to get back into reading multiple books but I still struggle with more than 2!

I’ve started reading to Baby and I love it! They enjoy the colors so far and seem to want to turn pages but I may be projecting. Happy reading!

I am sure that my son was interested from a very early age so I don’t think you are projecting 🙂
Happy Reading too 🙂

Running at lunch time while listening to a spooky story sounds like a much better idea than running at night. My WWW post is here https://devoil.wordpress.com/2021/11/10/www-wednesday-10th-november/

I remember the days of trying to read with an infant all too well! It’s not always easy now that he’s a teenager, either!

I get skittish at any spooky vibes, a little jealous for all of you who can read them. Here’s mine: http://susanlynknits.com/2021/11/10/www-wednesday-november-10-2021/

It’s not easy for me. I have to limit my thrillers. Happy reading!

The Ghosts of Eden Park looks excellent! I think not being able to hold the phone up high enough is a perfect excuse. I have been using the whole real-books-are-too-heavy-at-night thing for years and year. Reading should be an escape, not cause a cramp!

Your reading with baby took me back. I would read “Goodnight Moon” to get them to sleep then get back to adventures with James Michener, politics with Allen Drury, and world issues with Leon Uris.

We’re still at a point where Baby’s bedtime is everyone’s bedtime lol. I look forward to reading after they go to sleep! Happy reading.
