The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Kelly

Currently reading: This wasn’t a great week for True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey. I might have picked it up one night. I’ve been getting better sleep, though! So at least one thing is improving.
I keep making decent progress in Where the Light Enters by Sara Donati. I just renewed it for the third time and I’m over 70%! I’m hoping to wrap this one up reasonably soon.

GhostRecently finished: Y’all are never going to believe this. I finished The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson! I read a short chapter while baby was falling asleep and realized I only had one more to go! I finished that a day or two later and I can’t believe I’m finally done with it! I’ll be working on a review, not sure when I’ll be able to finish it and get it posted. I gave the book Two out of Five Stars so I have a lot to process. Maybe by Monday?

51I9OngSemL._SX328_BO1,204,203,200_Reading next: This means that the next time I find a moment to start an ebook, I’ll be picking up A House at the Bottom of a Lake by Josh Malerman! I’m excited to have this one so close at hand. It seems like it’s a shorter one so that is great for my slow ebook reading.
Hopefully now I can focus on finishing my physical book so I’ll pick up Rebeldes (The Outsiders) by S.E. Hinton. I’m looking forward to revisiting this story.

Well done on carving out sufficient time to finish one of your books. I’m just sorry it didn’t turn out to be a five star read.

Yay for finishing and even more yay for sleep! Sounds like a great week!

I’ve just finished a book that had no chapters, just 3 parts and it felt like I wasn’t getting very far, then all of a sudden I was at the end – Melmoth by Sarah Perry.

    Have a great week!

Congratulations on finishing Girl with Ghost Eyes. I bet it’s a good feeling.

This week, I’ve got a rather studious biography and a thrilling thriller.

    Here is my WWW https://perfectretort.blogspot.com/2022/05/www-wednesday-may-25.html

Once when I was really stuck on a book I wanted to read (Case Histories by Kate Atkinson) I got it on audio and listened as I pushed my niece around in her stroller. I became totally hooked on this author. Just a thought!

I do love audio but I haven’t used it to get through a slow book before. Interesting. Happy reading!
