Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived here on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at. No blog? No problem! Just leave a comment with your responses. Please, take some time to visit the other participants and see what others are reading. So, let’s get to it!

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Note: For users of Blogspot blogs, I’m unable to comment on your posts as a WordPress blogger unless you’ve enabled Name/URL comments. This is a known WordPress/Blogspot issue. Please consider enabling this to participate more fully in the community.

Ghost

Currently reading: Again, nothing with The Girl with Ghost Eyes by M.H. Boroson. I know I’m close to finishing it, but I really have no push to get through to the end.
I’m making steady progress in True History of The Kelly Gang by Peter Carey and I’m picking it up most nights. I’m getting to the point in the story I’m more familiar with so it’s losing some novelty for me but I’m still enjoying the writing.
I’ve gotten to a third of the way through Where the Light Enters by Sara Donati. It feels great to be making progress in this chunk of a book. I can tell I’m starting to get some time for myself again which is kind of nice.

Recently finished: Come back later.

91tzXN8Fp0LReading next: I know I’ll eventually have something here that will move to my ‘Currently Reading’ area, but it seems so far away. I hope to pick up A House at the Bottom of a Lake by Josh Malerman next. We’ll see what happens.

Leave a comment with your link and comment (if you’re so inclined). Take a look at the other participant links in the comments and look at what others are reading.

Have any opinions on these choices?

Until next time, write on.

Good luck with The Girl With Ghost Eyes. It can slow down all reading when you gave a story you just don’t feel an urge to complete.

Yay for getting more time for you 🙂 some progress is better than none. And if you don’t make progress who is going to judge you 🙂 I’m making slow progress on Finlay Donovan Is Killing It because I have a few Blog Tours coming up and I need to read them first 😂

    Have a great week 😊

It sounds like you are also getting more sleep, which is definitely good, Sam!

I have been participating in the #1954Club which was fun but it was lucky it only lasted a week as I am busy planning my college reunion in June. Here is my WWW:

Still not tempted to DNF the Girl with the Ghost Eyes? Like that cover but doesn’t seem like you’re drawn to the story.

I’m so close to the end that DNF seems silly. I think it’s finding time to read it that’s a bigger issue than enjoyment. I think I’ll press on still. Happy reading!
